Privacy Policy for PureMakers
Last updated: July 2026
At PureMakers (puremakers.shop), one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document outlines the types of information collected by our website and how we use it.
Website Mechanism & Checkout Data
Our website does not directly process customer transactions, capture financial details, or host an independent checkout system. PureMakers operates purely as an automated showcase catalog. When you click a button to purchase an asset, you are securely redirected to the official Etsy marketplace endpoint to complete your order. Any personal data associated with your purchase is handled entirely by Etsy under their standard marketplace privacy terms.
Third-Party API Integrations
We use official API integrations to maintain and automate our platform:
- Etsy API: A twice-daily automated script uses the Etsy API to sync metadata (such as public product titles, prices, images, and listing URLs) from our active marketplace storefront to puremakers.shop.
- Pinterest API: PureMakers Workspace connects only to the Pinterest Business account authorised by its owner. It can identify the authorised account, read its public boards, create a public board when required, and publish PureMakers product image Pins containing a title, description, alt text and destination link. API-created Pins and boards remain sandbox-visible only to the account owner while the application has Pinterest Trial access; public API publishing will be enabled only if Pinterest grants Standard access.
Our automated applications use PureMakers' own product information and only the Pinterest account and public-board information authorised by the PureMakers account owner. They do not access customer financial information, unrelated Pinterest accounts, secret boards, advertising accounts, private messages, Pinterest passwords, or Pinterest session cookies.
Pinterest Authorisation Data
Pinterest authorisation uses Pinterest OAuth. The application receives an access token and, where provided by Pinterest, a refresh token so it can perform actions approved by the account owner. These credentials are kept in the private server-side application environment or token store, are never included in public website pages or browser code, and are used only to operate the authorised PureMakers Pinterest account. Account and board information returned by Pinterest is requested when needed and is not retained as an independent Pinterest-data database.
Retention, Revocation & Sharing
Pinterest OAuth credentials are retained only while the integration remains connected. The account owner can revoke access through Pinterest account settings or request removal using the contact details below; stored credentials will then be deleted from the application. Pinterest API information and credentials are not sold, shared with advertisers, combined with information from other Pinterest users, or provided to unrelated third parties. Public product information is shared with Etsy and Pinterest only as required for the catalogue and authorised publishing workflows described above.
Your Rights
If you contact us directly by email, we use your details only to answer your enquiry and maintain any necessary correspondence. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold, including removal of a connected Pinterest authorisation, subject to any legal obligations that require limited retention.
